Interested in going on pilgrimage?
Our Lady calls us to come to Lourdes in prayer, procession and penance – can you respond to this call? Come and join us on the Welsh National Pilgrimage to Lourdes!
Archbishop George Stack (Cardiff) & Bishop Tom Burns (Menevia) are leading this years pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes. The theme for all pilgrimages in Lourdes this year is “the Lord has done great things for me”.
A spiritual programme of events includes Mass at the Grotto, participation in the Blessed Sacrament and Torchlight processions, a Mass with anointing, stations of the Cross, international mass and a visit to the Baths. In addition there is time to explore Lourdes, to relax with other pilgrims as well as opportunities for walking tours lead by our JWT reps.
Flying from Cardiff on Sunday 23rd July to spend five nights in Lourdes before returning on 28th July. We use three hotels and prices are range from £669 based on two people sharing. Single supplements are available. We also have spaces for assisted pilgrims – do you know of anyone who needs to go to Lourdes and requires a little bit of extra care? Our medical / carers team and youth and adult helpers provide care in the St Frai, a special facility designed to cater for assisted pilgrims.
We are always on the look out for helpers to join our team – both adult and youth. Could you or someone you know take up this challenge?
