The God Who Speaks: 2020 A Year of the Word
2020 marks the 10th anniversary of the publication of Pope Benedict XVI’s Apostolic Exhortation ‘Verbum Domini’ (The Word of God). The document examined the Word of God in the Life and Mission of the Church.
To mark the anniversary the Catholic Bishops of England & Wales have designated 2020 as a Year of the Word entitled “The God Who Speaks”. The year will be marked in the Diocese with events celebrating, living and sharing God’s word.
How does the Word of God (the Bible) affect your life?
The Bishops are inviting Catholics in England & Wales to take part in a survey on how you use the Bible in your life. The survey is completely anonymous and will be used to shape the resources and events for a Year of the Word. Have your say and make your mark to help hear the Word of God more clearly in the life of the Church in England & Wales by taking the survey below.
Note: The survey is open to all interested parties with connections to the Church and is not limited to Catholics alone.
