Seminarian receives ministry of Acolyte following Covid-19 delay

On October 30th one of our seminarians was conferred with the Ministry of Acolyte at his seminary following a Covid-19 delay.  Seminarian Dale Cutlan received the Ministry from our own Archbishop George Stack who travelled to London especially for the occasion.  The Diocesan Vocations Director, Fr Nicholas Williams, will also on hand for the Mass celebrated in the chapel of Allen Hall Seminary in London.

In the seminary system, the ministry of Acolyte is usually conferred as the second progression towards priesthood.  For the next year Dale will now complete an extended parish placement before resuming his studies at the seminary.

Congratulations Dale, our prayers are with you.
