On Saturday 28th May Seminarian Robert James became the second Cardiff seminarian to be admitted as a Candidate for Holy Orders within the week. Robert was admitted as a Candidate at a Mass held at Allen Hall Seminary in London, presided by our own Archbishop George Stack. Robert is pictured with Archbishop Stack (on the Archbishop’s left) along with his fellow candidates from other dioceses.
Following a fallow period of priestly Vocations with the diocese, the admission of Nicholas and now Robert as Candidates for Holy Orders is a joyous occasion for the diocese as a whole. With Seminarian Daniel Stanton due to be ordained Deacon at the end of June we have thanks to offer to Almighty God. However, we must also continue to pray for our seminarians and a continued increase in Vocations for the future of the diocese.
Our Lady of Vocations, pray for us.
