Homilies
It is the job of the priest to teach the people, helping them to understand the message they have heard with the Scriptures. As the ‘Chief Priest’ of the diocese, the bishop has the right to preach a homiliy wherever he may be within his territory. Priests and deacons throughout the diocese have the ability to preach within their areas because they are in communion with the bishop.
