These one off sessions are provided free of charge and are being offered to parents and all those who work as volunteers in the Diocese. These are non-technical events offered to parents focusing on practical advice.
They aim to promote benefits of children’s use of internet Raise awareness of key risks to children including: Content – sexual, violent and other “adult material” Contact with inappropriate people, including those who might use the internet to exploit children Conduct- including cyber bullying and how to prevent and respond to it. Provide practical strategies to respond to these risks and details of where to get help and support.
Tea and coffee will be available from 10am with sessions starting promptly at 10.30am
Places are limited to 20 people per session and will be allocated on a first come basis.
