Cornerstone to take part in National Open Garden Scheme next weekend

Next weekend, 9th-10th June, Cornerstone will open it’s beautiful garden as part of the National Gardens Scheme event raising money for this worthwhile charity, which supports other charities including MacMillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie and the Carers Trust.  By coming along on these dates between 10:00am-4:00pm you will be given a personal tour of the sensory gardens at Cornerstone that were developed in partnership with the RNIB with the opportunity to find out more about the garden and ask questions of the experts.

The garden was the idea of Mr Christian Brown OBE, KSG who managed the Cornerstone project on behalf of the diocese.  Christian was spearheading this event to raise money for worthwhile causes when he sadly passed away earlier this week.

It would be lovely to see as many people from around the diocese to visit the gardens in support of this worthwhile cause and in memory of Mr. Christian Brown.  Entry £5.  You can find out more about the National Gardens Scheme by visiting https://www.ngs.org.uk
