Archbishop visits school Ambassadors

Over the past few months Archbishop George Stack has visited all of the Catholic Secondary Schools speaking to your Young People who are acting as Ambassadors within the schools for both the Centenary Year of the diocese and the Year of Mercy.

During a recent visit to Cardinal Newman High School in the Pontypridd Deanery the group informed the Archbishop of their school efforts for celebrating the Year of Mercy.  In return the Archbishop brought them up to speed on the preparations for the Centenary Mass taking place on Monday June 20th 2016 in the presence of the Apostolic Nuncio, Cardinal Vincent Nichols and the Bishops of England and Wales.

The Archbishop is pictured below with the Ambassadors from Cardinal Newman High School.
